Interior Design
The first year of this program
establishes a firm base in design and core classes
with emphasis on the language and terminology needed
to communicate in the field as well as an understanding
of the business aspects of design. The second year
further develops the student's knowledge and design
skills and allows for advanced study practice in all
areas of interior design, including the use of computers
as design tools. Graduates will understand furnishings,
finishes, colors, lighting, architectural detailing,
and all the other elements of design.
